In consideration of this, DSA has taken a different approach and utilised scientifically engineered dust suppression solutions to achieve advance results that sustain consistent functional longevity.

We are committed to tailoring our solutions based on our clients’ site-specific requirements, such as substrate conditions, micro-climate, seasonal conditions, salinity levels, soil type, the area topography, accessibility, drainage, and project duration. These variables, in conjunction with a comprehensive soil assessment, conducted by our inhouse, soil scientist, dictate our final client recommendations.

Upon investigation of the site topography, our technicians commence the application phase in with either an aircraft or our mine site accredited HydroTrucks designed explicitly for working within comprehensive industrial sites. These plant and equipment allow for a uniform application forming a flexible, yet durable membrane on top of the substrate to prevent dust from becoming distributed by high winds or water runoff during rain events.

Most of our products last between 6 – 12 months, depending on requirements and selected application rates. However, our clients can have the peace of mind knowing that if they have any questions, we are readily available to discuss their concerns.

Suppress X
A solution-driven dust suppression product designed explicitly for non-trafficked areas such as stockpiles and ash or tailings dams. Scientifically engineered, Suppressx eliminates dust lift without changing or compromising the substrate beneath it. Drawing on cutting-edge technologies; this contains absorbent, cross-linked water-soluble polymers, that will penetrate the substrate, binding to fine particles to form an interconnected flexible crust. The newly formed layer is an efficient and cost-effective approach to dust suppression, helping to resist erosive winds and rains.


FibreLoc
It is distinguished for its ability to resolve dust erosion by withstanding interchangeable and harsh weather conditions. This solution is also a favourable product for sites areas with an uneven substrate and high levels of salinity.

DTA has developed FibreLoc as a robust dust suppression solution that can quickly eliminate further issues caused by dust. The unique structure is made up of interlocking wood fibres incorporated by stronghold environmentally-friendly binders to form a flexible yet durable blanket, aimed to withstand erosion, unpredictable and varying site substrate conditions.

The construct of the solution once in contact with the soil becomes a resistant safeguard, for functional longevity.


HydroBond
Scientifically supported by extensive laboratory assessments, HydroBond is a unique approach to dust suppression, designed also to support the revegetation process. HydroBond has proven to suppress dust while simultaneously promoting faster growth with additional seed protection.

Outlined using a specialist blend of polymers and specific additives, is mixed with water to act as a binder to assist in seamless application. Underpinned by a superior structural foundation, HydroBond is both permeable to water and air, allowing for growth and seeding to take place, while binding dust particles.

This solution can be tailored based on the client’s requirements and designed to promote increased seed development. With application feasible with or without mulch, HydroBond is both an efficient and economical solution, for long term sustainability.

RoadBond
RoadBond is a specially formulated dust suppression solution intended for unsealed or haul roads. Engendered for high trafficked areas and work-sites and known for its ability to instantly reduce dust by penetrating the loose substrate particles to form a coating resulting in a reworkable, dust-free layer. In doing so, it improves and promotes work-site safety by limiting the impact of dust on personnel health, the environment and surrounding local communities.
